Package Manager invites you to built and publish your own Joomla! extensions. The development of extensions is a time consuming task and at the end, the much harder part begins, at least if you like to publish your extension at the Joomla! Extension Directory.

Since 2017 the support of the Joomla! Update System is mandatory for each extension listed at the Joomla! Extension Directory. The Package Manager extension is all you need to fulfill the requirements and hides all the neccesary development setting up an update server.
